Membership

There is nothing more critical to the continued success of our association than membership and funding. Attention to the first will automatically resolve the second. At our recent winter meeting, I asked who would be willing to help the association in this effort by visiting with a nearby non-member licensed company to discuss the benefits of membership, and take this new member under their wing to make them feel welcome as a new member. I was encouraged to see the vast majority of the membership raised their hands. It will soon be time to back up this informal commitment.

During the upcoming months we will be developing and distributing a list of non-member firms in your area. Everyone will receive several new member packets, and non-member contacts. Those who are most successful with their recruitment efforts will be rewarded for their contribution to the association as follows:

Your incentives:

One new member	$50 off next years annual dues.
Two new members	$150 off next years annual dues.
Three new members	$250 off next year’s annual dues, or free registration to this year's summer meeting at Mackinac Island.
Four new members	Free registration and two nights lodging at this year's summer meeting at Mackinac Island.

New member incentives:

Dues pd in full w/registration	3 free registrations in any combination to MPCA sponsored training events, or one free registration to an upcoming summer or winter meeting. ($$$ value)
Payment plan	Pay a non-refundable 50% of total dues at time of application and remaining 50% due in 90 days.
